I always suggest to male clients to stay away from wearing bold or colored stripes on or off the camera. It takes away from their overall look and it hurts the eyes.

Go with grays, blues, but nor black and with this I suggest a pale pinstriped shirt and a colored tie. This is a young and classic look. A pastel colored shirt looks always good. That has a very smart look to it. Wearing a striped suit tends to flicker on the television screen.

You also want to have a clean look, which means shaving and use little moisturizer on your skin that gives you a natural glow and a healthy look. (You don’t want to over do it. Too much moisturizer creates a shine, due to the lights and that is not flattering). You will want a healthy youthful look.

You can also do a moisturizing mask the night before. This will give enough moisture to the skin for the next day. If you have very dry skin, make sure to moisturize a little in the morning, as well.
